I'd like to talk about my friends for a minute.
While I'm doing so, you should think about yours.
And if, as I suspect and for your sake hope, yours are different than mine, well then tonight, before you go to sleep you really have something to be thankful for.
But, if by some cruel cosmic joke that is aimed directly at you, your friends have even an inkling of resemblance to mine, well then I must offer my sympathies.
Let me speak bluntly.
My friends are cheap; because I am an idiot.
My friends wear on me quickly; they have very little value; at times can even put my safety in peril, due to their cheap nature (this of course depends on the sense of humor of the patrons and staff of the venue we choose to unleash their cheapness).
But, what can I do?
I have them for better or worse, but probably for a lifetime.
This same logic, however, simply must not translate into my perspective on the tires that I, my family and my friends ride upon.
Let me speak bluntly.
My tires are not cheap; because I am not an idiot.
The purchase and use of cheap tires should only result from a lack of information and understanding.
Any other rationale is simply not tolerable.
I understand budgets can be tight; and I completely agree that there are many wise shopping decisions that should be made disregarding name brands and high prices.
However, when the decision-making process weighs issues such as: keeping your car on the ground around sharp curves and resistance to puncture (which can further lead to keeping the vehicle from spinning or worse rolling), then monetary value must be given the lower priority.
And actually the cheap tires will be needed to be replaced much more frequently, so there can be some balance of expenditure.
So, do your research, consider your typical driving conditions, the type of vehicle, and prioritize your needs when deciding what to put your family and friends upon?even the cheap ones.

Keep Your Dodge Tires for a Long Time
The tires are very much known as the part of the vehicle that keeps the vehicle on the road and also helps in making the ride much more comfortable. Did you know that tires have rating systems? Well, this is quite true and these ratings are actually to provide information on the tire's traction, tread wear, speed rating, load rating, and temperature resistance. You see, a car's performance is greatly affected by the type of tire that it has.
Vibration and shaking are two of the major problems that passengers could feel when a tire rotates. The best thing to do if you encounter a problem such as this would be to have your tires properly balanced.
So how do you achieve this kind of balance for your tires? Try to position the weights of the wheel. By doing such, you actually counterbalance the heavy parts and spots of the whole wheel and tire assembly. You see, if your wheels are properly aligned, the angles of your wheels are adjusted so as to suit the correct...

Offroad Tires - Getting Dirty With Style
What to do with the inherent urge you feel every time you quick spot an opening in the brush, in a trail that may or may not lead to an off road utopia?
What do you think you should do, you Nancy, slam the brakes, twist the wheel, apologize to whomever is sitting next to you for the fact that they will not be making it to their intended, particular destination at that moment and tear off road and into the liberation of street sign-free good times.
Well, wait, hold on for a moment.
While it's true that I do think that, for the most part you should do that, there may be a thing or two slightly over-impulsive to that off roading call to arms.
First off, really you should drop your passenger off and let them walk to their destination (we are members of decent society after all).
But, more importantly, consider if you truck is ready for the offroad.
One of the biggest considerations here will be what your tires are...
Claims of Ford Explorer Owners to Proceed as Class Action in California
Ford Motor Company suffered another setback in its effort to defend the Explorer sport-utility vehicle.
On February 8, 2005, the California Superior Court in Sacramento certified a class-action lawsuit pending against Ford, charging that it knew of a rollover defect in its Explorer SUVs that it concealed from consumers.
The class certified by the court generally includes persons who purchased or leased Ford Explorers in California during the period from 1990 through August 2000.
According to evidence presented to the court, Ford sold over 440,000 Explorers in California during that time period.
It was in August 2000 that Firestone initiated a recall of tires used on the Ford Explorer because of the large number of fatalities that occurred when Explorers rolled over after the tread separated from their
tires.
The plaintiffs allege that further investigation revealed that Ford had suggested underinflating the tires to conceal the Explorer's...
